Do Townhomes Have Pools?
No, however, we have a water park, pool, and spa for our guests to enjoy. You can also reserve a poolside cabana for the day by calling Guest Services at 866-584-5527.
Will Towels Be Provided In The Home?
Yes, all vacation homes include both bath and pool towels.
What Are The Toiletries In The Vacation Homes?
Every vacation home is equipped with toiletries sufficient for one to two-day use. Our “starter pack” includes mini shampoo, shower gel, lotion, toilet paper, one tab of dishwashing detergent, one bin liner, one pack of detergent, one dryer sheet. Of course, if you need more please contact guest services.
Is There A Hair Dryer In The Home?
Yes, all of our vacation homes include a hair dryer.
Is There A Safe In The House?
Yes, every vacation home has a safe located in the master bedroom. The security code for the safe can be changed for your usage.
What Is The Private Pool’s Depth?
Our private pools have an approximate slope to 5 ft depth.
Will I Get A Garage Door Opener?
All vacation homes within the resort are restricted from having access to the garage door openers.
Can I Heat My Private Pool?
Yes, please contact your Tour Rep for any add-on options and details. PLEASE NOTE: Not all homes are equipped with pool heat and may not be available if not reserved as a part of the original reservation requesting pool heat.
During summer, it is usually not recommended to add pool heating since the average temperature of the pool is around 85-88 degrees. However, if that’s something you wish for, that could be done. Please request at least 72 hours before your arrival if you want to have your pool ready by the time of checking-in. If you happen to request that during checking-in, please allow 24-48 hours for the pool to be heated completely.
Is There A Playground On Property?
Yes, there is a Splash Playground on property. We will have a dry playground in the near future.
What Are The Details For The Putt-Putt Golf?
Our six-hole putt-putt golf is still very much active as weather permits. You can obtain golf clubs at the clubhouse/reception desk.
Can You Fish In The Ponds?
Yes, it is catch and release only. Equipment can be signed out at Guest Services located in the Clubhouse.
What Nights Are Movie Night?
Weather permitting, the resort hosts movie night twice per week. Currently, Tuesday and Saturday evenings, however subject to seasonal changes.
What Are The Wedding Package Options?
Currently, we do not have any offer for wedding packages. Please follow our website and social media channels for the most updated information regarding wedding packages.
What's The Height Requirements For The Slides At The Waterpark?
The height requirement for both slides at the Splash Playground is 48''.
Are There DVD Players In The Home?
Yes, there are DVD players in the living room and the Media room of the vacation homes.
Check-In and Check-Out
What Time Is Check-In And Check-Out?
Guests who have received their pre-arrival information may check-in to their vacation home at 4:00 pm. Requests need to be made in advance for early check-ins and will be granted on availability. Fees may apply. Departing guest should vacate the resort per the following schedule:
2 & 3 Bed Townhomes – 11:00 am daily
3 & 4 Bed Homes – 11:00 am daily
5 & 6 Bed Homes – 10:00 am daily
Late check-outs must be requested by 5:00 pm the previous day of departure and late check-out fees must be paid. Failure to check out on time may result in late check out fees being applied.

Can I Invite People To Join Us At Our Home And The Clubhouse During Our Stay?
Any non-registered visitors must be approved by Guest Services and parking permits must be obtained. For visitors to use resort amenities, resort fees per person must be paid in advance at Guest Services at the Clubhouse. No visitors are to be in the resort past sundown except while patronizing the Balmoral Bar & Grill or pool area accompanied by the registered guest. The resort will not permit parties, celebrations, “get-togethers” and the like without signing additionalagreement acknowledging the rules and regulations for visitors.

Is There A Security Deposit Fee?

This plan covers accidental damage/occurrences. Intentional misuse, abuse, damage or theft of goods in home will not be tolerated and may result in the resort seeking legal action to recuperate any losses.
Is There A Package Delivery Fee?
Yes, there is a small package delivery / receiving fee of $5.

- Any packages addressed to a non-registered resort guest will be refused delivery. Due to limited storage space, we request that packages NOT arrive earlier than seven (7) days prior to arrival date. A guest may receive standard letters and carrier envelopes free of charge.
- Each package will incur a $5 package receiving fee, which will be paid at the time of package retrieval.
- Registered guests may retrieve their package(s), with valid identification, at the Front Desk during normal operating hours.

What Is Our Current Cancellation Policy?
For bookings made on or after May 1, 2020 with departure dates on or before December 19, 2020, cancellations made 48-hours prior to arrival will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48-hours of arrival, forfeit 100% of the reservation total. However, reservations are transferable until 48-hours of arrival at no charge, to a later date up to 1 year from the originally reserved check-in date and is subject to availability. Should the guest wish to re-book for a date priced at a higher level, and/or stay for a longer period, the balance of the higher rate is due in order to secure the booking. We retain any and all excess funds collected during the original reservation for re-booking at a lower rate.
This policy applies to all rate plans with the exception of our Advanced Booking rate.
What Are The Advantages Of Staying In A Vacation Home Versus A Hotel?
Vacation homes (such as those offered by Balmoral Resort) provide you and your family the privacy and distancing that is currently being recommended by public health officials. Each of our pool homes provides an intimate space for only your family and friends. Fully equipped kitchens allow for in-home meal preparation. Balmoral vacation homes allow concerned travelers to relax confidently in the comfort and privacy of their own discrete space while still enjoying the warm sunshine that only Central Florida can provide.
How Are We Safeguarding Our Guests?
The safety and security of our guests and team members is and has always been our highest priority. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the entire resort. In response to COVID-19 concerns, we have taken additional measures developed in consultation with global and local public health authorities (including officials at WHO and the CDC) to ensure that our sanitization protocols are even more rigorous.
Here’s what we’re doing to keep you safe:
- Increased the frequency of cleaning our public areas (including lobbies, door handles, public bathrooms, etc.) and have continued the regular use of hospital-grade disinfectant.
- For each home clean, using hospital-grade disinfectant cleaners we:
- Focus on frequently touched surfaces like appliance handles, light switches, doorknobs, remote controls, faucet handles, A/C control panel, alarm clocks, and others.
- Clean stair banisters, furniture, countertops, end tables, and other surfaces.
- Wash all linens at the highest heat setting recommended by the manufacturer. That includes bed sheets, hand and bath towels, kitchen towels, and blankets.
- Disinfect the vacuum cleaner, along with other cleaning appliances like the dishwasher and washing machine.
Are Resort Amenities Being Affected?
Balmoral Resort continues to operate most amenities as usual with extra sanitation processes in place. Currently, the operation of our range of amenities meets all state and local guidelines and restrictions. As conditions change, we will update our procedures as necessary. Our Guest Services team will also be operating with limited hours at our clubhouse.
